Students’ self-governance embodies a collegial authority elected through universal suffrage, ensuring equal representation for all students within an educational institution. It operates independently, exercising its rights and fulfilling obligations outlined by regulations, Georgian law, and institutional norms, without any external interference.

GOALS OF STUDENTS` SELF-GOVERNANCE ARE:

  • Protecting Students’ Rights: Safeguarding the legal rights and interests of students in their interactions with the educational institution and external entities.
  • Empowering Students: Facilitating the empowerment of students to assert their rights and freedoms effectively.
  • Enhancing Education Quality: Supporting students in receiving high-quality education aligned with international standards and fostering the development of competitive skills.
  • Promoting Engagement: Encouraging student involvement in educational, scientific, socio-cultural, charitable, sports, and entertainment activities.
  • Facilitating Adaptation: Assisting new students in adapting to and integrating into the educational community.
  • Fostering Diversity: Promoting a diverse and multicultural environment within the institution, fostering unity among students of different nationalities.
