BAU INTERNATIONAL UNIVERSITY BATUMI HAS A STUDENT SERVICES DEPARTMENT, WHICH IS RESPONSIBLE FOR THE FOLLOWING FUNCTIONS:
At BAU International University Batumi, our Student Services Department plays a crucial role in ensuring students’ success and well-being throughout their academic journey. Here are some of the key functions that our dedicated team handles:

Functions of the Student Services Department:

  1. Informing and Advising: Providing comprehensive information and guidance to students regarding the learning process, academic requirements, and educational resources.
  2. Student Counseling: Offering personalized counseling and assistance to address any issues or concerns related to students’ academic status or university life.
  3. Integration Support: Facilitating the smooth integration of students into the university community, helping them adjust to academic and social aspects of university life.
  4. Event Notifications: Keeping students informed about upcoming trainings, conferences, and various educational, sports, and cultural events happening within the university.
  5. Support for Student Clubs: Assisting in the establishment and operation of student clubs, fostering a vibrant campus community and providing opportunities for student engagement.
  6. Collaborative Projects: Planning and executing joint events and projects with governmental and non-governmental organizations to enrich students’ academic and extracurricular experiences.

Promotion of Student Self-Government: Encouraging and supporting student self-governance activities, including assisting with project applications and organizational support.

First Aid Officers

BAU Batumi is dedicated to providing first aid services for staff, students, and visitors, and it recognises its responsibility in this regard.

A designated first aid officer’s responsibilities include:

  • Giving first aid on campus
  • confirming that there are sufficient first aid supplies at the workplace
  • Keeping first aid supplies in an adequate and functional state

First Aid for Mental Illness Officer

At BAU Batumi, we understand the challenges that come with studying overseas, including having to move away from home, making new friends, financial strain, and increased workload pressure. These stressors have the potential to bring us through trying times.

It is our duty as a learning environment to support students in managing stress and adversity as well as to give them coping mechanisms for when things get tough.

Therefore, we make a Mental Health First Aid Officer available to students, who is happy to give them some tools, contacts, and techniques, refer them to the right professionals when needed, and assist them in finding the best solutions.
